AUGUST 1, 2026
Spokane, our hearts are with you tonight.
As of today, multiple fast-moving wildfires, including the Old Trails Fire, are burning across Spokane County, and thousands of neighbors have been forced to evacuate on very short notice. Below is a list of resources current as of the time we published this. Please don't treat this list as your only source. This situation is changing by the hour, and the fastest, most accurate updates will always come from:
Spokane County's live evacuation map, KHQ, KREM, and The Spokesman-Review, who are updating continuously
211 or WA211.org for real-time help finding shelter or assistance https://wa211.org
We'll do our best to keep this page current, but a phone call to 211 or a check of the county map will always beat a webpage for up-to-the-minute accuracy. Stay safe, Spokane, and if you're in a position to help a neighbor tonight, please do.
Spokane County Emergency Management — live evacuation map
Watch Duty is a free resource available for tracking wildfires and other weather emergencies.
Red Cross asks people hoping to donate or those who need help to call 1-800-RED-CROSS (800-733-2767) as it will be manned overnight.
A note on the list below (Aug. 2, 2026): I'm doing my best to keep this updated in real time, including addresses and social media links, but please double-check each source before relying on it, details on the ground can change fast.
If you have edits, updates, or know of other resources, especially active resource threads online, please text me at (509) 850-0646 with as much detail as you can (business/org name, what they're offering, address, contact/social links), or use the Google Form linked on this page.
Thank you for helping keep this accurate for our community. ❤️
