HOW IT BEGAN
SUCH. A. LOCAL. started as an idea to reclaim a phrase.
I wanted to give it a new meaning. To me, being SUCH. A. LOCAL. means taking pride in the place you call home. It means supporting local businesses, showing up for your community, celebrating the people around you, and adding something uniquely you to the place we all share.
This brand is another way to support that vision. It's a reminder that every one of us has the ability to make our community a little stronger through everyday choices.
Be First in Line. Help Launch Something Bigger.
DROP 001: THE LOCAL LEGENDSÂ launches August 8, 2026.
On August 8, First Access members will receive an exclusive link to shop the collection. The public release follows three days later.
Your support helps us continue building The Local Post and creating more opportunities for local businesses, makers, and organizations to grow together.

DROP 001: THE LOCAL LEGENDS
Our first collection celebrates the people who choose to invest in Spokane and the businesses that make our city what it is.
When you wear SUCH. A. LOCAL., you're joining a growing community of people who believe that supporting local isn't just about where you shop. It's about the kind of community we choose to build together.
MORE THAN A T-SHIRT & RACERBACK
Every purchase helps move a much bigger mission forward.
Here's what your support makes possible:
1. You support local makers.
Our first collection is created in collaboration with Street Style by Nickola, keeping this project rooted in Spokane from the very beginning. Nichola, the founder, creates streetwear that Inspires. She is an artist and creates her own designs, which all tell a different story. Nickola combines art and fashion to embrace and share our experiences.
2. You help keep dollars in Spokane.
When local businesses collaborate, create, and grow together, more resources stay within our community instead of leaving it.
3. You help strengthen our local business community.
Healthy small businesses create opportunities, support local families, sponsor community events, and contribute to the character of Spokane. When they thrive, our entire community benefits.
4. You help build a more resilient local economy.
Strong networks of local businesses are better able to support one another through challenges, making Spokane stronger over the long term.
5. You help grow The Local Post.
Revenue from the SUCH. A. LOCAL. collection helps maintain and improve The Local Post marketplace, making it easier for local businesses, organizations, events, creators, and community groups to discover one another, collaborate, and reach new audiences. Every improvement to the platform creates more opportunities for meaningful local connections.
Together, these small purchases create something much bigger than merchandise. They help build the kind of community where supporting local becomes easier, more visible, and more impactful for everyone.
ABOUT OUR FIRST COLLABORATION
I'm incredibly excited that our very first collection is being produced in collaboration with Street Style by Nickola.
Nickola is a Spokane maker whose craftsmanship and attention to detail made her the perfect partner to bring this first drop to life. Working together reflects exactly what The Local Post exists to encourage: local businesses collaborating, sharing opportunities, and creating something neither could have made alone.
I hope DROP 001: THE LOCAL LEGENDS is just the beginning of many collaborations with talented local makers throughout Spokane.
Thank you for being part of the first chapter.
Here's to being SUCH. A. LOCAL.
