How much does it cost to list my space? Nothing. Listing on The Local Post is completely free. You only earn — you never pay.

How much will I make? You keep 80% of every campaign booked through your listing. For example if an advertiser pays $100 you receive $80. The Local Post retains 20% as a platform fee.

When do I get paid? You'll receive your payout within 7–14 business days after your campaign is completed and the advertiser's payment has been received.

Do I have to be present or do anything special during the campaign? It depends on what you're offering. If you have a TV screen, you just display the ad. If you're hosting an event, you give a shoutout or display signage. We send you everything you need in advance — no printing, no chasing anyone down, no extra work.

What if I don't know what to charge? That's exactly what we're here for! Fill out our Help Me Price My Space form and we'll come back to you with personalized pricing suggestions based on your space, audience, and location.

What kind of spaces can I list? Almost anything! TV screens, bulletin boards, window space, counter or register areas, event sponsorships, social media audiences, newsletters, and more. If people see it, it has value.

Can I choose which advertisers work with me? Yes! When you apply to become a host you can specify which types of advertisers you do and don't want. We'll always match you with advertisers that fit your space and audience.

What if I want to cancel? Either party can end the agreement with 30 days written notice. Any active campaigns at the time must be fulfilled as agreed.

Is this only for Spokane businesses? For now yes — The Local Post is focused on connecting businesses and advertisers across the Spokane metropolitan area, including Spokane Valley, Liberty Lake, Cheney, and surrounding communities. If your business serves or is located within the greater Spokane region, you're welcome here! We may expand to other regions in the future.

How do I find the right opportunity for my business? Browse our listings on the Browse Opportunities page. Each listing shows you the host's audience, location, engagement time, and pricing so you can find the perfect fit for your budget and goals.

How much does it cost to advertise? Packages start at just $25. Pricing varies by host, audience size, and campaign type. You'll see the exact price on each listing before you book.

How do I book? Just pick the package that fits your needs and click the Book button. You'll be taken to a secure Stripe checkout page to complete your payment. After booking you'll receive a confirmation email and we'll reach out within 1 business day with next steps.

What do I need to provide after booking? After payment you'll receive a Sponsor Materials form to submit your logo, promotional materials, social media description, and anything else needed for your campaign. It takes less than 5 minutes.

How do I know my ad actually ran? Every host is required to submit proof of performance within 48 hours of your campaign completing — photos, videos, social media screenshots, and engagement numbers. We forward everything to you as your official campaign confirmation.

Can I advertise with multiple hosts? Absolutely! Many advertisers book with several hosts at once to reach different audiences across Spokane. Just browse and book as many listings as you'd like.

What if I'm not happy with the results? Reach out to us and we'll work with you to make it right. We're a small local business too and your satisfaction matters to us.

What payment methods do you accept? We accept all major credit and debit cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and bank transfers through our secure Stripe payment system.

Do you offer refunds? Refunds are handled on a case by case basis. If a campaign was not delivered as agreed we will work with you to resolve it. Please reach out within 48 hours of your campaign end date.
